The Hugh Gore Institute continues to fulfil the charitable wishes of its founder, Bishop Hugh Gore, as it has done since 1683. Leave a legacy
The Hugh Gore Institute has a long history of support through legacies, the most significant of which was left by Bishop Hugh Gore in 1691 which established the charity that still exists today.
Our charitable mission is to provide a supportive community and affordable housing for older adults in need. The provision made by Hugh Gore in 1691 still provides for our residents but the ever-increasing costs of supporting our community and the aging buildings means that we must generate further income.
We hope you will consider remembering the charity in your Will. All donations are of immeasurable help, whatever their size.
